PSG Club Chief on Potential Interest in Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich

Recently, transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano revealed Nordi Mukiele’s strong desire to join Bayern Munich. Moreover, Paris Saint-Germain is actively searching for a replacement.

However, the two sides differ on the type of deal to complete the transfer. Another report suggests that PSG desires to incorporate a mandatory purchase clause in Mukiele’s loan agreement.

Nonetheless, Bayern Munich proposes a six-month loan deal with a buy-option clause. Still, a recent report from L’Equipe reported that PSG seeks to secure Joshua Kimmich’s signing this January as they negotiate with Bayern Munich for Mukiele.

The Parisians’ club chief, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, was on Rothen s’enflamme and was asked about the Ligue 1 side pursuing Kimmich this January transfer window as part of the Mukiele transfer.

“Listen, I don’t want to talk about a player from another club because I respect Bayern Munich a lot,” Al-Khelaïfi said. “I have very good relations with Bayern and with Rummenigge too. If we have an interest in a player, we will talk about it with the club.”

“But the truth is that today, we are looking at the transfer window. But we know that the transfer window is difficult, but we look at each possibility, how we can and how we want to develop to help the team progress.”

Although the German would be an excellent signing, the likelihood of success remains highly unlikely. PSG views Kimmich as the ideal addition to their squad, with Enrique acknowledging and valuing his versatility.
