Is Paris Saint-Germain plotting to acquire two Bayern Munich players? Reports suggest that the capital club is targeting a defender and midfielder from the Bavarian side.
On Friday, RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins reported that PSG has recently contacted Bayern Munich regarding Matthijs de Ligt. Paris views de Ligt as a high-profile player who can significantly enhance the squad’s capabilities.

Dutch center-back, who joined from Italian giants Juventus two years ago in a €67 million deal, is reportedly considering leaving the club in the summer. He has dropped to third choice behind Kim Min-jae and Dayot Upamecano and is reportedly unhappy about it.
PSG could be exploring the player’s availability. However, Hawkins notes that Bayern Munich is unwilling to sell the 24-year-old, who remains under contract until 2027.
Moreover, Hawkins reveals that PSG has an interest in not only de Light but also aims to renew its pursuit of Joshua Kimmich. Bayern Munich had previously prevented Kimmich from leaving this January.

Kimmich’s contract runs until 2025, and if there’s no progress on a contract extension by summer, Bayern Munich will have to decide whether to sell him or risk losing him on a free transfer.
