PSG and Liverpool Set Sights on Feyenoord’s €45M Defensive Sensation

In the remaining days of the summer transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain must actively reinforce their defense, particularly considering Milan Skriniar’s extended absence due to injury.

Over the last few days, the French giants have seen their name in connection to several center-backs, some expensive while others are more economically friendly.

The latest center-back to enter the transfer rumor mill is David Hancko. According to Italian journalist Nicolò Schira, PSG and Liverpool are keen on the 26-year-old Feyenoord defender.

Feyenoord is asking for €45 million to sell the center-back and would like to keep him in January to open negotiations for his sale in the summer. While Hancko is a quality player, these types of talks wouldn’t help PSG this season.

Will PSG sporting advisor Luis Campos be open to making a deal to improve the team next season? It would be ideal to address the team’s needs now, considering the capital does have a chance to advance to the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 with a 50/50 matchup against Real Sociedad.

It will be interesting to see how the Ligue 1 side uses these days in the January window.
