The future of Kylian Mbappé remains a mystery. Until he decides on his future, there will be conflicting reports. Even if the 25-year-old leaves Paris Saint-Germain, he won’t leave the capital club in financial trouble.
Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano reports that last summer, Mbappé made a pact with PSG, agreeing to forfeit his loyalty bonuses (€70 million and €80 million) in the event of a free departure.
As part of the agreement, he committed to informing Nasser Al-Khelaifi about his decision about his future before anyone else. This information coincides with what RMC Sport reported on Monday regarding the report from Foot Mercato, which stated that the Frenchman had agreed to join Real Madrid.

The French media outlet reported that PSG asserts that they haven’t received any decision from Mbappé. The capital club management anticipates being the first to receive a notice about Mbappé’s decision.
It remains to be seen whether any media company will obtain that information firsthand or if Mbappé will choose to announce the decision on his terms, keeping his cards close.
