Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé has a difficult decision regarding his future. The 25-year-old’s contract expires in June, and he must decide where to continue his career. As a result, he likely welcomes all kinds of advice, even from fellow athletes.
In an interview with GQ (h/t Le10Sport), the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner noted that Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is someone he can contact when needing advice.
“LeBron James has a much more advanced career than mine and projects outside of sport that have consolidated his place as a legend,” Mbappé told the outlet. “Being able to ask advice from such inspiring personalities is a chance to adjust my projects and create my own thing that is as effective as possible for today’s young people.”
According to a report from RMC Sport, PSG wants a quick update on Mbappé’s future, as they have already presented an extension offer. Nonetheless, Mbappé and his entourage resist succumbing to pressure regarding his decision and its timing.
The French media outlet also highlights that he has not yet determined his future. However, as always, there’s conflicting information regarding this saga.
Ramon Alvarez de Mon states that clubs won’t have to wait until the early part of the summer, unlike the saga in 2022. The desire for clarity from clubs like PSG and Real Madrid drives this quick resolution. Will they get an immediate resolution?
