Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappé again appeared on the scoring sheet in the capital club’s 2-0 win over RC Lens on Sunday night at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis.
The 25-year-old’s insurance goal, his 19th in Ligue 1, puts him in some good company as one of the top forwards in Europe this 2023-24 season. Squawka published a statistic for the players with the most league goals and assists in Europe’s big five divisions so far this season.
Mbappé and Liverpool FC star Mohamed Salah are tied with 22 goals and assists this season. There’s only one player ahead of these two on the list: Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane, with 27.

However, the PSG star could begin to distance himself from Salah, with the 31-year-old representing Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations. As a result, the forward will be away from Liverpool, and Mbappé can rack up goals and assists to inch his way toward surpassing Kane.
Except Salah isn’t doing it in a farmer’s league. Mbappé is wasting his career.
