Liverpool and Manchester City Eye Bayern Munich Ace Amid PSG Interest

Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich may explore the option of free agency rather than extending his contract with the Bundesliga team. The 28-year-old’s current contract expires in 2025, and various clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, are reportedly expressing interest.

According to Sport BILD, Kimmich is reportedly unhappy with his position at Bayern Munich and is contemplating a departure next summer. The German outlet adds that PSG and Barcelona are the clubs tracking the player.

Kimmich is viewed as the ideal addition to the Parisian team. The German international has earned recognition and appreciation from Enrique for his versatile skills.

Furthermore, journalist Christian Falk reports that a couple of Premier League clubs are keen on the midfielder. If PSG wants Kimmich, they’ll need to beat out Liverpool and Manchester City, who are interested in the 2020 UEFA Champions League winner for the summer transfer window.

In the upcoming months, Bayern Munich will have to decide whether to sell the player during the summer to recover a transfer fee. They can retain him but risk the possibility of losing him on a free transfer.
