The future of Kylian Mbappé remains uncertain, as the Frenchman has yet to decide. One of the dark horses in this entire saga is Liverpool, a club that continues to hang around as an alternative to Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappé has kept fans guessing about his plans for years, leaving Real Madrid eagerly awaiting his much-anticipated move.
The 25-year-old superstar has been widely expected to transfer to the Spanish capital, but Liverpool has emerged as a possible alternative, especially if Mohamed Salah decides to move.
Nevertheless, former French defender William Gallas firmly believes he will join Real Madrid instead of heading to the Premier League club.
“I think Kylian has a strategy in place from a long time ago. He knows where he’s going to go,” Gallas said (h/t The Mirror). “He’s just turned 25, so he’ll go to Real Madrid. He’ll go to Real because he said a long time ago that it was his club.
“He was a big fan of Real Madrid like he was a fan of PSG. Everything looks like he’s going there. Even if it was a difficult last season with his contract situation. Even if he likes the Premier League, I don’t think he’ll go to the Premier League.”
PSG isn’t going to let the forward leave without a fight. According to a report, the Ligue 1 side is willing to pay the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner €400 million for four years. Can this proposal motivate Mbappé to extend his contract with the capital club?
