Real Madrid is again interested in Kylian Mbappé, who will soon be free to join any team once his contract with Paris Saint-Germain ends. However, there’s uncertainty about whether Real Madrid will make another attempt to sign him in the future.
The big question is whether Mbappé will stay with PSG or opt to join Real Madrid. According to L’Equipe journalist Antoine Simonneau, the opportunity for Mbappé to move to Real Madrid might not come around again, making this a crucial decision point for him.
“This is his last chance to go to Madrid, and he is aware of it,” Simonneau told Diario AS (h/t Le10Sport). “Besides, if he doesn’t go, Haaland will go. Florentino will not deprive himself of a big star to inaugurate the new Bernabeu. No matter how much money he misses, he needs other challenges and Real Madrid are a media machine. There is no bigger club.”
Simonneau believes it was a mistake for the 25-year-old to remain at PSG instead of joining the Spanish side in 2022. Despite having the opportunity to move to Real Madrid, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner declined in favor of staying in Paris.
We still don’t know whether Mbappé will decide to join Real Madrid or if he will go against expectations and reject them again to stay at PSG.
