Future Bright for PSG: Warren Zaïre-Emery Commits to Long-Term Contract

Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly ready to lock up Warren Zaïre-Emery to a long-term contract, making him one of the faces of this new project.

The 17-year-old has become a vital part of the capital club’s midfield. In the 2023-24 season, the teenager has appeared in 19 matches in all competitions, scoring three goals and registering five assists.

Zaïre-Emery is under contract until 2025, and PSG has no desire to see the midfielder leave. L’Equipe reports that Zaïre-Emery will sign a five-year extension on March 8th, his 18th birthday.

Internally, discussions in Paris are underway regarding the possibility of assuming the captaincy in the upcoming years. PSG must actively secure the young talent’s commitment to the Ligue 1 side for the club’s best interests.

This past summer, Manchester City reportedly had a €60 million bid for Zaire-Emery rejected. The Premier League side knows the type of talent that the Frenchman possesses. Nonetheless, it seems that the PSG youth product will remain in the French capital.
