Ronaldo wouldn’t be surprised to see Kylian Mbappé finally sign with the Spanish club next summer, even if he grows tired of the length of the process.
The former Real Madrid striker gave his take on the entire Mbappé saga after he recently met with the Frenchman during an NBA game in Paris. Ronaldo was at The Best Awards ceremony at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, honoring the best male and female players of the calendar year 2023. Of course, the topic of Mbappé surfaced when talking to the media.
“Madrid always has the best players in the world,” Ronaldo told SPORT. “It’s a philosophy that has been maintained for many years, and it’s no surprise that they continue to want the best footballers.
“I don’t know if he’s going to go to Real Madrid, but it’s true that he speaks almost perfect Spanish. I find it impressive how well he speaks.”
Whatever the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner’s decision, Ronaldo wants the saga to end, and many football fans will agree with him on this stance.
“I don’t know what will happen, but it’s already becoming a very long soap opera,” Ronaldo said.
Heading into the saga for January, reports revealed that Los Blancos would have a firm stance and place a deadline. Nonetheless, there’s no deadline, and people must wait whenever the PSG star decides on his future.
