Paris Saint-Germain will be bolstering their midfield once the January transfer window opens. According to multiple reports, the capital club is on the verge of landing Corinthians midfielder Gabriel Moscardo.
The Parisians want to finalize the agreement between the player side and Corinthians in the next few days, and the price would be €25 million. Additionally, sporting advisor Luis Campos is reportedly in Brazil for Moscardo.
Furthermore, should PSG land the teenager, there’s talk that they could buy the player and leave him in Brazil until the end of the season.
What does PSG get from Corinthians midfielder Gabriel Moscardo?
So, apart from the financial aspects of a possible transfer, what does the youngster bring to the French capital? ESPN Brazil’s Raul Moura spoke to Le Parisien about what Moscardo brings to the table.
“[Moscardo] is good at marking and without the ball. He has grip, he is a good tackler, and he also knows how to dribble to get out of the defense,” Moura told the French media outlet. “Above all, he has the personality. I think he knows that his future is not in Brazilian football.

“He will definitely be a great player in Europe, and the team that signs him will have a top player for the next 10 or 15 years. I think that, in addition to his characteristics, his qualities off the field will help him adapt. He is considered one of the great revelations of Brazilian football in 2023, and not only by Corinthians supporters.”
Raul Moura (ESPN) sur Moscardo a LP: "Il sera certainement un grand joueur en Europe et l’équipe qui le signera aura un joueur de haut niveau pour les 10 ou 15prochaines années. It will be interesting to see what PSG does with Moscado and even Cher Ndour, two young midfielders who need playing time to develop. Will they get that at PSG, or is it more ideal for them to go out on loan?
