Kylian Mbappé wasn’t scoring only one goal on his 25th birthday. The Paris Saint-Germain star registered a brace to give the Parisians some breathing room after Metz cut the deficit in half.
Metz was looking for the game-tying goal and wanted to replicate what Lille OSC had done to PSG last weekend. However, a passing error allowed Mbappé to secure the ball and beat Metz goalkeeper Alexandre Oukidja for the 3-1 advantage.
Furthermore, the result would permit PSG to secure all three points and end this year on a positive foot.
