Spanish Outlet Advises Real Madrid Against Pursuing Kylian Mbappé

The Kylian Mbappé transfer saga will resume on Monday, and while Real Madrid continues to have an interest, the Frenchman is a divisive figure for Los Blancos supporters.

Some people connected to the Spanish side haven’t processed the past rejections. As a result, they want the La Liga side to finally move on from pursuing the Frenchman.

Bernabéu Digital writes that Real Madrid shouldn’t be humiliated for another transfer window.

“Indeed, Real Madrid always has to have the best players in the world, and that is an obvious and logical matter, but we should not allow ourselves to be humiliated by a player who has shown nothing more than love for money and his ego,” the outlet wrote. “It is not worth it, honestly, to give him a new opportunity to join the ranks of Los Blancos.

“It is logical when [Erling Haaland] is a footballer who lives for and by the sport, choosing the sports project of the current European champion. But in Mbappé’s case, his domain has become too small for him, and it seems that he finally wants to leave after bleeding Qatar’s money to the last drop. Now is when Florentino Pérez should stand firm and say, ‘No.’”

Nonetheless, the Spanish side is approaching this time with a firm stance. Real Madrid reportedly has a deadline for how long the 25-year-old has to accept their pre-contract proposal.

Even though there’s a firm approach this time around, will it be enough for Mbappé to finally head to the Spanish capital? Meanwhile, PSG reportedly wants to hold the winger for as long as possible.

A report from France reveals that the Parisians want to extend his contract for one or two more seasons. However, the Ligue 1 side has accepted that Mbappé’s future will continue elsewhere sooner or later, so this could be one last-ditch effort to keep the player.
