In recent days, rumors have circulated around Carlos Soler’s name. The Spanish international allegedly seeks additional playing time to strengthen his role with La Roja before UEFA Euro 2024 next summer.
Juventus reportedly expressed interest in Soler, but several Spanish suitors eagerly await his return to La Liga. Foot Mercato’s Sébastien Denis reports that sporting advisor Luis Campos particularly likes Soler and does not want him to leave PSG this January.
As a result, Campos has closed the door twice on any clubs expressing interest in the 26-year-old. Denis adds that there’s Sevilla, Real Betis, and Villarreal among the Spanish clubs inquiring about Soler, but PSG is blocking any departure.

Why does PSG want to retain Soler? Le Parisien recently reported that the capital club aims for the treble – Champions League, Ligue 1, and Coupe de France – and believes they’ll need everyone.
For PSG, having the depth to compete in three competitions in the second half of the 2023-24 season is more significant than a loan or transfer fee they’d receive for Soler.
