In a few weeks, Paris Saint-Germain winger Kylian Mbappé can sign a pre-contract with any club as he’s set to be a free agent in June 2024. Real Madrid is one of the clubs keen on the French; however, there’s a limit.
The La Liga side reportedly has a deadline as they want the 24-year-old to accept their offer. Furthermore, that’s not the only firm stance Los Blancos have with Mbappé.
Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda stated on El Chiringuito (h/t Le10Sport) that Real Madrid had given a deadline of January 4th to Mbappé’s team to respond to their offer. However, Inda also mentioned that Mbappé is taking his time to decide and has not yet responded.
The information from Spain contradicts what’s coming out of France, which states that whatever the match’s outcome against Borussia Dortmund, it will not impact what Mbappé decides about his future.
In Spain, the report notes that the winger’s future will depend on whether PSG can beat the Bundesliga to advance to the UEFA Champions League knockout stages.
