Revealed: PSG’s Contract Details Into the Extension of Presnel Kimpembe

Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe extended his contract with the capital club until 2026. The announcement of the new agreement came after the Ligue 1 giants beat FC Metz 3-1 on Wednesday night at the Parc des Princes.

Despite this debilitating injury, PSG did not disappoint the player from their training center and made him sign a contract extension for two additional seasons. Nonetheless, the financial structure is performance-based.

Information into Presnel Kimpembe’s contract at PSG

Le Parisien and L’Equipe (h/t Culture PSG) reported that PSG offered Kimpembe a slightly increased salary. Additionally, Luis Campos and his sports management team ensured that they linked the bonuses to Kimpembe’s playing time with the first team and his overall performance.

Additionally, the French giants put this system in place during the contract extension of Italian Marco Verratti at the very end of December 2022.

Despite this signing, whether Presnel Kimpembe will play this season is doubtful. His operation should, however, allow him to begin the 2024-25 season.
