The January transfer window opens in a few weeks, and Real Madrid has no plans for the Kylian Mbappé transfer saga to drag into the rest of the 2023-24 season.
Mbappé can sign a pre-contract with any club once the calendar turns to 2024. Furthermore, the Spanish giants want to wrap up the signing of the Frenchman in January, not a month later.
Real Madrid has a firm stance with Kylian Mbappé
According to Spanish media outlet AS, if Mbappé delays the proposal and after January 15 he still does not decide, Real Madrid will close the chapter with Mbappé and activate Plan B, which would be Erling Haaland.
The outlet reveals that when Real Madrid calls Fayza Lamari, the player’s mother and the great promoter of all his contracts and financial agreements, on January 1, she will let him know that her son has a period of 15 days to respond to the Spanish giants’ offer.
Mbappé has 15 days to confirm his decision to join Los Blancos. No further changes or doubts will be accepted.
