Randal Kolo Muani Reveals PSG’s Mentality for Dortmund Clash

Randal Kolo Muani and Paris Saint-Germain picked up a 2-1 win over FC Nantes on Saturday night at the Parc des Princes to give themselves confidence heading into a must-win UEFA Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund next week.

Kolo Muani didn’t start the game against his former club. However, he was effective off the bench. The Frenchman scored the eventual game-winner late in the second half after Nantes had equalized the contest.

With three points in their pocket, PSG shifts their attention to the Bundesliga side. The capital club controls their destiny in the Champions League clash on Wednesday at Signal Iduna Park.

Randal Kolo Muani: PSG are confident heading into Dortmund Clash

The 25-year-old spoke with CANAL+ postgame and was asked about the upcoming contest against the German giants. Kolo Muani noted the squad’s mindset heading into the crucial matchup.

“We had to take the three points; it’s important,” Kolo Muani told the French media outlet (h/t Paris Fans). “We had to win at home. We were able to produce some good play, that was also reassuring. We weren’t able to carry out a lot of action. We still had control of this match.

“We leave with the three points, and now we will be able to concentrate on the Dortmund match. We all worked well this week for the upcoming match. We are very, very confident. We know there is a big match waiting for us there, and we will be ready.

PSG can advance to the knockout stage in other ways, but the most straightforward way is to beat Dortmund.
