Paris Saint-Germain must prepare for another Kylian Mbappé transfer saga in a few days. When the calendar turns to 2024, any interested club can begin talks with the 25-year-old over a pre-contract since his current deal expires next June.
All eyes will be on Real Madrid, who will reportedly present an offer to the Frenchman’s camp. However, Los Blancos have a firm stance, with Mbappé having a 15-day deadline to accept the proposal. Whether or not the Spanish side sticks with that outlook remains to be seen.
PSG’s mindset heading into another Kylian Mbappé transfer saga
So, how are the Parisians handling the situation? SPORT reports (h/t Le10Sport) that the PSG leaders do not want to worry about the saga revolving around Mbappé. According to the Spanish media outlet, the French giants are more concerned with improving the squad during the January transfer window.
The Ligue 1 side will reportedly add a center-back in São Paulo FC’s Lucas Beraldo. Furthermore, PSG wants to close the transfer for Corinthians midfielder Gabriel Moscardo, so these files are likely more important for the leaders.
A recent report also revealed that Mbappé will stick with PSG through the 2023-24 season. The capital club is in the UEFA Champions League round of 16, so it’s unlikely the winger decides while the Parisians are alive in this tournament.
