Paris Saint-Germain has begun its January transfer business with the pending additions of Brazilians Gabriel Moscardo and Lucas Belardo. PSG may explore additional deals, but they won’t be acquiring a duo from Manchester United.
With the capital club having a winnable UEFA Champions League round of 16 matchup and players leaving for their respective international tournaments in Africa and Asia, many wonder if PSG will attempt to improve their depth.
Even though the January window has yet to open, don’t expect PSG to bring in veterans looking for a way out of their current club situation.
CBS Sports’ Ben Jacobs reports that PSG has ruled out the possibility of acquiring Jadon Sancho or Casemiro in January, despite some speculation. While there have been historical discussions about Sancho, no concrete developments have emerged.

Jacobs’ information is consistent with the French giants’ tone with the Kylian Mbappé transfer saga. The capital club leaders do not want to worry about the saga revolving around the 25-year-old. According to a report, the French giants are more concerned with improving the squad during the January transfer window.
