Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Carlos Soler reportedly wants out of the French capital. The Spanish player wants more game time to secure his spot on the national team ahead of UEFA Euro 2024 next summer.
Although the club doesn’t necessarily have to keep Soler, it seems they are unwilling to grant any requests for his departure. Le Parisien reported that PSG’s decision-makers promptly shut down the possibility of Soler’s departure despite recent speculations.
So, why does PSG want to hold onto Soler? The French media outlet notes that the capital club aims for the treble – Champions League, Ligue 1, and Coupe de France – and believes they’ll need everyone.

The Carlos Soler-Juventus rumor
Recently, TuttoJuve journalist Massimo Pavan reported that Soler has been offering his services to several clubs, including Juventus, ahead of the January transfer window. Pavan stated that the Bianconeri are currently considering the matter.
Nonetheless, if Le Parisien is accurate with their information, it appears Soler will not be going anywhere next month, even though he reportedly desires a change of scenery.
