Luis Enrique Analyzes PSG’s ‘Good Pressure’ in Champions League Duel with Dortmund

Paris Saint-Germain defeated FC Nantes 2-1 at Parc des Princes on Saturday evening, boosting their confidence ahead of a crucial UEFA Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund next week.

After securing three points, PSG will now turn their attention to the Bundesliga side. The capital club holds the key to their Champions League fate in the Signal Iduna Park clash on Wednesday.

Luis Enrique welcomes the pressure against Borussia Dortmund

To reach the knockout stage, PSG must beat Dortmund, although alternative routes are available. Still, the most straightforward manner is the victory, so there’s pressure riding on this match. Nonetheless, PSG manager Luis Enrique welcomes that.

“It’s good pressure,” Enrique told CANAL+ (h/t Paris Fans). “This is the pressure we want to have from a very young age, all the way to professional. I don’t think it will be a negative thing, but the most important thing will be to win with this pressure.

PSG striker Ranal Kolo Muani also spoke about the upcoming matchup with CANAL+ postgame and noted the squad’s mindset heading into the crucial matchup. He will likely get the start in the No. 9 role, and after scoring against FC Nantes, the Frenchman will be riding positive momentum.
