Although Liverpool is a destination often tossed as an alternative destination for Kylian Mbappé apart from Real Madrid, that might no longer be the case.
When his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires, the 24-year-old will become a free agent next year. Los Blancos are keen on landing the Frenchman, but they’re only willing to go so far with their pursuit.
The idea is for Real Madrid to make a significant offer, take it or leave it. As a result, there’s often speculation as to where else he can land should he leave next summer.
Is Liverpool out of any Kylian Mbappé chase in 2024?
Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg reported on Friday that Liverpool is not pushing for Mbappé. His transfer in the summer of 2024 is not an issue at this stage. Furthermore, PSG is still totally relaxed, as they are financially secured (contractually) for his possible departure.

Finally, Plettenberg adds that Real Madrid is still his most realistic destination, either next year or the year after. With the winter window opening in a few weeks, the rumors will continue spreading like wildfire.
