The January transfer window opens soon, and it’s another opportunity for Paris Saint-Germain to offload striker Hugo Ekitike. The former Srade de Reims goal scorer never really found his footing in the French capital.
As a result, the Frenchman will need to look elsewhere to continue his football career. Despite not playing much this 2023-24 season and inconsistently last campaign, there’s a market for Ekitike. It all points to the Premier League for the 21-year-old, which is a good place to test himself.
Where in the Premier League could Hugo Ekitike go?
Football Transfers reports that Crystal Palace is considering a move for Ekitike, also a West Ham United target. Ekitike had talks with the English club during the summer, but no move materialized.
The Eagles seek to strengthen their squad with a forward and midfielder to cover Cheick Doucoure, who is out for the season due to an Achilles injury.
In the upcoming transfer window, Crystal Palace is considering Ekitike as a potential replacement for Odsonne Edouard, who has had a mixed season and may leave the club.
Nonetheless, Football Transfers doesn’t reveal the type of deal that Crystal Palace will want to pursue to land the player.
