Fabrizio Romano Delivers Bad News to Real Madrid on Kylian Mbappé

Real Madrid could face a setback ahead of the January transfer window opening. The Spanish side reportedly has a deadline for Kylian Mbappé, whose contract expires in June 2024, to accept their pre-contract; however, no decision will occur.

Diario AS journalist Carmen Colino confirmed that Real Madrid is granting Mbappé a 15-day decision window. Nonetheless, she emphasizes that Los Blancos won’t be waiting for the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner to decide.

Well, if the La Liga side wants the 25-year-old, they’ll need to wait. According to transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano, Mbappé won’t be making any decisions on his future during the January transfer window, firmly remaining with PSG at least until June.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner wants to focus on the second half of the season with Paris, determined to compete for all available titles. Additionally, Romano says that PSG and all other parties believe nothing will transpire concerning Mbappé this January.

Let’s see if Real Madrid indeed abandons their pursuit if the winger doesn’t decide his future within the 15-day period they’ve provided.

  1. The article is a bit confusing, can’t really get it. Is it that Mbappe won’t be allowed to make any decision this coming January or what?

  2. What I do not understand with Great Real Madrid is that mbappe is not better than the great talented prodigies they have.
Let the arrogant fades in his ego.
