Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel is coming off an embarrassing 5-1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt over the weekend, and now the German gaffer wants to tighten up spots he feels the squad needs to improve.
One area that Tuchel wants to improve is the wing position. Furthermore, the 50-year-old wants to reunite with a former player of his, despite only arriving at Paris Saint-Germain this past summer transfer window.
Thomas Tuchel wants Ousmane Dembélé at Bayern Munich
Todos Fichajes reports that the German coach wants to recover a former pupil for the attack: Ousmane Dembélé.
In recent weeks, Bayern Munich continues to look for reinforcements to improve his squad, and in addition to a central defender, he has touched Ronald Araújo. He also does not rule out going for Jules Koundé this January.
According to the reporting, Tuchel wants Dembélé, and the coach does not seem to like the Coman option on the right wing since the Frenchman also feels uncomfortable with a changed leg.
Regarding the other two right-wingers, Leroy Sané has already been positioned on the left wing, while Serge Gnabry, after a series of injuries, is not offering the expected level.
While it’s been a rollercoaster ride for Dembélé at PSG, it’s doubtful that the French giants offload the 26-year-old months into bringing him from FC Barcelona. Chalk this rumor up as more of Tuchel shooting high, but a request that isn’t likely.
