Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte was a crucial player in Uruguay’s 2-0 win over Argentina in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match on Thursday night in Buenos Aires.
The 22-year-old played all 90 minutes in the victory, where he had 63 touches while completing 40 of 44 passes for a 91-percent completion percentage. Furthermore, Ugarte won six of his 14 ground duels with four tackles and two interceptions.
