Warren Zaïre-Emery earned his first call-up to the senior squad for the France national team. Manager Didier Deschamps has decided to reward the teenager for his current form.
Once the announcement was made, Zaïre-Emery’s teammates mobbed him while he was in his room. Players like Kylian Mbappé and Achraf Hakimi were part of the group mobbing the 17-year-old.
France will face off against Gibraltar on Nov. 18 and then Greece on Nov. 21. It will be interesting to see how many minutes Warren Zaïre-Emery sees and whether he gets a start with France already qualified for UEFA Euro 2024.
