It might be only a matter of time before we see Victor Wembanyama walking into Frost Bank Center wearing a Paris Saint-Germain jersey. While speaking with reporters, the 19-year-old noted his fandom for the French giants.
“My team is PSG, of course,” Wembanyama said.
Wembanyama is part of the generation that grew up with PSG owning Qatar Sports Investment. The Qataris took over the Ligue 1 side when the San Antonio Spurs star was about seven. As a result, expect more of these claims from young Parisians and Frenchmen.
