The January transfer window is only a few weeks away, so there is a lot of speculation about Kylian Mbappé joining Real Madrid. However, there have been conflicting reports about Real Madrid’s interest in the Frenchman.
News out of Spain would indicate that Real Madrid is ruling out seeking the 24-year-old. Still, players on the squad probably hope that isn’t the case regarding the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.
Rodrygo weighed in on the issue of whether he wants the winger to be playing at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
“Mbappé? I don’t know; ask the president,” Rodrygo said on El Partidazo de COPE. “I would want him at Madrid, of course.”

Even though reports in Spain suggest Real Madrid is out of the race, information in France says otherwise. One French outlet debunked the news, stating that the La Liga side is very much in the race.
So, it will be interesting to see how this transfer saga plays out. Before deciding, Mbappé’s decision will likely depend on how Paris Saint-Germain does in the UEFA Champions League.
