PSG Prioritizes Lille OSC Wonderkid, Races Past Bayern Munich and Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain reportedly wants to inject youth into their center-back position. The capital club added two players who can play the role this past summer: Milan Skriniar and Lucas Hernandez.

However, both players are in their late 20s, so it seems PSG wants to go after a younger file who can be part of the young talent on the current squad.

Over the last few weeks, Lille OSC’s Leny Yoro has been linked to PSG, and now the French giants are pushing for the transfer to become a reality. Yoro is under contract until 2025, so Lille could hold until the summer for a possible sale instead of January.

Nonetheless, Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna and Sébastien Denis report that Yoro is the Parisians’ priority for the winter transfer window. Whether in January or next summer, they’re keen on the player.

His profile is unanimous internally, and the Ligue 1 side wants to get ahead of the competition from Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

Yoro would be part of this new transfer policy that PSG has in securing young French talent, which began with the addition of Bradley Barcola last summer. With the potential contract extension of Warren Zaïre-Emery, PSG could have budding young stars if they land Yoro.
