Former Paris Saint-Germain star Lionel Messi drew the wrath of French defender Julian Palmieri. The 36-year-old had stints with Lille OSC and FC Metz, but he’s not in the news because of his playing career.
Palmieri went after Messi and noted that the Argentine has shown his true colors since winning Qatar’s 2022 FIFA World Cup. Furthermore, Messi’s former teammate Kylian Mbappé caught some criticism, noting that the veteran has a bigger ego than the PSG star.
“I hesitated so much for years between CR7 and Messi. Messi, thank you for finally being you since this World Cup: a big loser who has a melon triple that of Mbappé. I loved this player so much that now I hate him so much.”
J ai tellement hésité pendant des années…entre CR7 et Messi.Messi merci d être enfin toi depuis cette coupe du monde un gros tocard qui a un melon du triple de celui de Mbappé…J aimais tellement ce joueur que maintenant je le déteste autant.

Messi was in the news recently after he reacted to Manuel Ugarte’s NSFW gesture toward Rodrigo De Paul during Uruguay’s 2-0 win over the reigning World Cup champions. Despite the heat of the moment, Messi had some advice for Ugarte and the other young Uruguayan players.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup winner noted that players like Ugarte on the Uruguayan squad need to learn to follow the elders on the team, referring to Luis Suárez.
