The leadership of Ousmane Dembélé is beginning to shine through at Paris Saint-Germain. The 26-year-old is in Year 1 at PSG after the capital club agreed on his transfer for a reported €50.4 million with FC Barcelona this past summer.

Dembélé came to the French capital to be the supporting cast for Kylian Mbappé. Additionally, the Frenchman has to help replace the production left behind by the exits of Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr.

Nonetheless, Le Parisien reports that the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner brings much more to PSG after leaving the Catalan club. Dembélé has quickly become a prominent figure at PSG, not just for his skills on the pitch but for his role as a bridge between players and staff.

His affable nature, good humor, and remarkable ability to connect with his teammates have made him an invaluable asset within the squad. Furthermore, the winger has a calm demeanor and maturity, emerging as a source of stability and unity within the team.

Furthermore, Dembélé knows he can do better and ignores criticism of his stats. Luis Enrique insists more on what he can create than on statistics. There’s also an understanding between the two men.

The player particularly appreciates his knowledge on a human level and his management of the players. Nonetheless, Dembélé fits in well with the capital club, despite having no goals.
