As the January transfer window approaches, the future of Kylian Mbappé becomes a topic of conversation. The 24-year-old can begin talking with any club over a pre-contract that starts in the 2024-25 season.
While media outlets in Spain report all indications that the Frenchman will be heading to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, those in France are painting a different story.
L’Equipe reports that Mbappé could well extend his contract at PSG, a possibility that should not be ruled out even if no progress is expected before the start of 2024.
Furthermore, the French media outlet adds that PSG insists that whatever the Frenchman’s choice, the financial agreement in August protects the club from a departure without a fee.

A recent report revealed how much the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner would command from Los Blancos. According to El Chiringuito host Josep Pedrerol, the PSG winger wants an annual salary net of €35 million from Real Madrid.
Will the La Liga side be willing to pay? The next couple of months should be interesting to follow to see what Mbappé decides.
