Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery likely couldn’t have asked for a dream scenario when suiting for the France national team’s senior squad.
The 17-year-old ran into the box to finish off a pass from Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman for the goal. However, the celebration of the teenager’s goal was short-lived.
On the play, Zaire-Emery picked up an injury, leading manager Didier Deschamps to take him out. For PSG supporters, they hope the decision is for precautionary reasons. The team is already up 3-0, and France has already punched their ticket to UEFA Euro 2024. So, there’s no need to risk the player.
