Kylian Mbappé transfer rumors hit overdrive over the last few days. So, how’s Paris Saint-Germain reacting to all this noise? They’re responding with a sense of calmness.
Spanish pundit Roberto Gómez recently reported that the Frenchman and Real Madrid had agreed to a contract. Various reports, such as that one, caused the Spanish club to issue a statement.
Real Madrid denied any negotiations with the 24-year-old. Furthermore, transfer window Fabrizio Romano shed light as to why Los Blancos decided to address these rumors rather than continuing to let them simmer.
Romano reports that Real Madrid aims to avoid creating issues between Mbappé and PSG, particularly at this point in the season. The club desires to maintain a low profile and keep things calm. Madrid’s primary objective for the summer of 2024 continues to be acquiring Mbappé.
Nonetheless, with all the noise, Le Parisien reports that PSG remains calm, even if they know he can negotiate with another club in January. Furthermore, the French media outlet notes that the capital club’s experience shows it is best to remain calm as the winger’s future has yet to be decided.

It will be intriguing to see if signing a pre-contract is the method that Mbappé uses. PSG can still be alive in the UEFA Champions League and preparing for the knockout stages, so will he decide to wait?
