Gonçalo Ramos Reveals Possible PSG Gameplan Against Newcastle

Paris Saint-Germain, who won an impressive 5-2 victory over AS Monaco on Friday night at the Parc des Princes, will welcome Newcastle United for their UEFA Champions League clash.

A win over the Magpies on Tuesday night at the Parc des Princes will bring PSG closer to securing a spot in the knockout stages. Ahead of the contest, Gonçalo Ramos spoke about Newcastle and the game plan the Ligue 1 side has for the English side.

“I am happy,” Ramos said (h/t Tuttomercatoweb). “Above all, very happy for the collective. We are now ready to face Newcastle next Tuesday. The game plan was the same as always: take the ball, keep it, and it worked well.”

Ramos also touched on his relationship with fellow striker Randal Kolo Muani. Both players are pushing to be the No. 1 starting striker for manager Luis Enrique. While the two are battling for minutes, Ramos notes it’s a healthy competition.

“It’s a healthy competition with Randal; we get along very well,” Ramos added.

Kolo Muani and Ramos scored in the win over Monaco. It seems that whenever one of the strikers scores, the other likely feels the need to do the same to avoid falling behind in Enrique’s eyes.
