Kylian Mbappé is a topic of discussion in Spain, as Real Madrid can begin contract talks over a pre-agreement on January 1. The 24-year-old will become a free agent and can sign anywhere he wants.
However, the saga is growing tiresome for those following this drama. Additionally, with the rise of Jude Bellingham, some might not feel this pursuit is worth it anymore.
Still, El Chringuito pundit Javier Balboa makes no mistake with his remarks. Balboa notes that Real Madrid has to do whatever it takes to sign the Frenchman despite the emergence of Bellingham.
“Real Madrid needs Kylian Mbappé,” Balboa said (h/t Le10Sport). “Jude Bellingham was not recruited to be the big scorer for Real Madrid.”
One person who wants to see Real Madrid move on from the Mbappé saga is another El Chringuito pundit, Juanma Rodriguez. The Spanish journalist believes it’s time for the La Liga side to cut its losses.
“I don’t understand the Mbappé operation,” Rodriguez said. “I don’t want it, and I’m not interested either. I lost all interest.”
It will be interesting to see what Real Madrid decides to do with this saga. All signs point to Los Blancos pursuing the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, despite what some in the media might say.
