Paris Saint-Germain couldn’t secure a favorable result on the road as the capital club fell 2-1 to AC Milan on Matchday 4 of the UEFA Champions League.
The French giants opened the scoring after a Milan Skriniar header goal to make it 1-0. However, the Ligue 1 side gave up their early lead minutes later after a goal from Rafael Leão. AC Milan would get the deciding goal coming off the header of Olivier Giroud.
PSG are currently in second place in Group F with six points, ahead of AC Milan (five points) and Newcastle United (six points). Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund holds the top spot with seven points. After the loss, Kylian Mbappé spoke with reporters and provided his initial thoughts.
“We are disappointed,” Mbappé told reporters. “We tried to put all the ingredients on our side to win, but it did not happen. We tried to score the second goal, but they scored before us, and then we tried to react afterward, but it was too late.”

Mbappé and Co. still control their destiny despite the loss to the Serie A side. If they secure two wins, they’ll punch their ticket to the Champions League knockout stages with no issues.
However, Newcastle did make easy work of PSG, and the French giants have struggled on the road. So, the task is easier said than done.
