Paris Saint-Germain invested in 2021 to land a world-class right back in Achraf Hakimi. The capital club paid up to €70 million for the Moroccan international, and this 2023-24 season appears to be his best season since his arrival.
The 25-year-old has scored four goals and four assists in 14 appearances in all competitions so far this season. While Hakimi has three more years left on his current contract, discussions over a player’s future are the norm in football.
The agent of the PSG star recently commented on the possibility of Hakimi returning to Inter Milan. Inter Milan sold him to the French side after just one season.
“I know he made many at Inter happy, but I think it’s a finished story,” Alejandro Camano told TVPLAY. “I don’t know about the future, but PSG is talking about the possibility of continuing with Hakimi for a long time.”

PSG has struggled to find good full-backs since the Qatar Sports Investment era began in 2011. With Hakimi and Nuno Mendes, once the Portuguese returns from injury, it would be hard not to envision the Ligue 1 side agreeing to an extension to keep him for the foreseeable future.
Trade him for Dumfries if he really wants to leave! Maybe go for one of City’s or Madrid’s wingbacks if we want an upgrade.
He does not want to leave.
