Jude Bellingham is becoming a star for Real Madrid this 2023-24 season. Furthermore, the 20-year-old has left the Kylian Mbappé transfer saga as an afterthought for most supporters.

Nonetheless, with the January transfer window looming, the Spanish giants can approach Mbappé over a pre-contract. However, journalist Aitor Bris for Bernabeu Digital believes it’s time for Real Madrid to move on.

According to Bris, Mbappé could even disrupt the Real Madrid locker room next season. His ego could be a real problem for the Merengue group.

“Real Madrid is without [a No. 9] for the first time in its history, but with a thirst for titles never seen before,” Bris wrote (h/t Le10Sport). “To talk about the team led by Carlo Ancelotti is to talk about a club that undoubtedly has a winning gene, whoever wears the jersey.

“Real Madrid is a family, and that is something undeniable, given everything that is happening at the start of the season. Putting a time bomb in the dressing room is not the most ideal, and even more so, given how good the club is. They should, therefore, leave Mbappé behind because this team can aspire to anything with Bellingham and company.”

Even though the journalist is advising the Spanish side to steer clear of the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, they won’t be doing that. A recent report revealed that Real Madrid plans to secure Mbappé as a free agent and then turn their attention to Erling Haaland.

It will be interesting to see how this entire saga plays out, but if Mbappé rejects Real Madrid again, there will be backlash.
