One of the embarrassing moments on the pitch for Paris Saint-Germain was the 6-1 loss to FC Barcelona at Camp Nou. After winning the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first-leg 4-0 in 2017, the capital club appeared to go through to the quarterfinals.
However, that didn’t occur. PSG melted down when facing the Catalan side in the return leg. The contest impacted current players, who noted that the comeback was the peak of their fandom.
One player who shares this sentiment is newly signed FC Barcelona striker Vitor Roque. The Brazilian was asked which game from the Spanish side affected him, and he noted that game against PSG.
“The 6-1 comeback match against PSG at the Camp Nou was the match that marked me the most as a Barcelona fan,” Roque told Mundo Deportivo.

The Ligue 1 giants will likely have to win the Champions League. It’s the only way to truly put these types of games behind them. PSG has had various meltdowns in the competition and now has this bottler label.
As a result, the only way the club can remove this stigma is by winning the trophy that’s long eluded them.
