Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Fabian Ruiz is a sporadic player, occasionally coming into the starting 11 and usually off the bench. As a result, the Spain international could be looking for a fresh start where he can be a regular starter.
According to Calciomercato.it via TuttoJuve, the Bianconeri are contemplating a loan move for the 27-year-old. Furthermore, Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli is familiar with the midfielder as he brought Ruiz to Italian football.
Ruiz has been rumored to be a name that could leave, and this news further confirms it.
The Spaniard moved from Real Betis to Napoli in 2018. Four years later, Giuntoli sold him to PSG for €21.5 million. However, Ruiz has yet to become an undisputed starter.
Despite Luis Enrique’s appointment, the former Napoli player has only started twice this season in all competitions this 2023-24 season. Additionally, the report reveals that the French champions could be willing to part ways with the player in the middle of the season.
Nonetheless, the main obstacle could be the midfielder’s wages. Ruiz earns €6 million annually, exceeding the Serie A club’s new financial limits.
