Strategy Revealed: Manchester United and PSG Target Could Stay at Juventus

Juventus’ Adrien Rabiot has been linked to clubs like Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain over the last few months. The midfielder appears to have matured during his time in Turin. With his contract expiring in June 2024, he’ll be a hot commodity.

PSG is no stranger to exploring the free agent market. However, would they consider bringing back the midfielder who was asked in September about a possible reunion with his boyhood club?

While the French giants could ponder Rabiot returning, Juventus wants to avoid that scenario. The Serie A side knows there will be a market for the midfielder. As a result, they’re doing their best to extend his contract.

Calciomarcato reports that Rabiot will wear the captain’s armband for Juventus when they face AC Milan on Sunday. Furthermore, the Italian media outlet notes that this isn’t a coincidence.

The promotion to leader of the dressing room is not a random sign because, in the meantime, the discussions for the renewal of the contract expiring at the end of the season with the Bianconeri are also continuing.

Regarding the contract talks, the idea is to continue on the current figures. So, Juventus wants to extend the contract length and have Rabiot sign it at the closing of the half-yearly budget at the end of January.

However, if clubs like PSG and Manchester United express interest, could he test the market?
