Newcastle United will welcome Paris Saint-Germain to St. James’ Park on Wednesday. One of the questions surrounds Kylian Mbappé, who played this Saturday against Clermont Foot after suffering an ankle injury in the 4-0 win over Olympique de Marseille on Sept. 24.
The 24-year-old played 90 minutes against Clermont, but the Frenchman might be coming into the Matchday 2 UEFA Champions League contest compromised.
L’Equipe reports Mbappé is not yet 100 percent physically, explains those around him. As proof of the “lofteurs” athletic deficit, the medical examinations of certain transferred players sometimes revealed astonishing physical deficiencies. Mbappé is paying for these three weeks without rhythm.

It will be interesting to see how the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner can still impact the contest. PSG needs the winger if they want to come out with all three points and ruin the party at St. James’ Park. Nonetheless, Mbappé, who isn’t fully fit, favors the Magpies in defending him.
