Real Madrid supporters have had their patience tested with the Kylian Mbappé transfer saga. The Spanish club will look to secure the Frenchman for a third summer in a row.
The 24-year-old’s contract expires next June after opting not to trigger the option to extend his contract until 2025. As a result, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner will become a free agent.
While Real Madrid could sign Mbappé next summer, some former players aren’t stopping from taking a shot at the Paris Saint-Germain star. During a segment on El Chiringuito, former midfielder José María Gutiérrez took a swipe at the winger while praising Jude Bellingham.
“Real Madrid fans love Bellingham so much because he wanted to come to Madrid,” Gutiérrez said on the broadcast.
🙄 #Guti: "El madridismo quiere TANTO a BELLINGHAM porque él sí ha QUERIDO venir al Madrid".

Los Blancos have their eyes set on Mbappé, but after two straight years of rumors and no action, they seem to be reaching their boiling point. Even though some claim that the Real Madrid train passes once, it’s stopping by multiple times for the PSG forward.
Will the third time be the charm, or will the La Liga side receive another rejection?
