PSG’s Projected Starting XI vs. Newcastle for Champions League Clash

Paris Saint-Germain will look to make it two straight wins in the UEFA Champions when the capital club faces Newcastle United on Wednesday at St. James’ Park.

The Ligue 1 giants kicked off the group stage with a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund at the Parc des Princes on Matchday 1. Furthermore, the Parisians were the only team in Group F to secure all three points.

AC Milan and Newcastle United played a 0-0 draw at San Siro. So, PSG could grab a stranglehold in the Group of Death if they defeat the Magpies. Now, who is PSG sending out for this marquee matchup?

Le Parisien reports that Gianluigi Donnarumma is in the goalkeeper position, so everything is still the same there. On the backline, Achraf Hakimi and Lucas Hernandez occupy the full-back roles. At center-back, PSG will send out Milan Skriniar and Marquinhos.

Meanwhile, it’s Manuel Ugarte, Warren Zaïre-Emery, and Vitinha in the midfield. As for the forwards, manager Luis Enrique will count on Ousmane Dembélé and Kylian Mbappé on the wings. The only question mark is at striker, as it could be Gonçalo Ramos or Randal Kolo Muani.
