Goodwill Needed? Journalist Gives Bold Kylian Mbappé-Real Madrid Take

Although Real Madrid will be pursuing Kylian Mbappé next summer transfer window as a free agent, there’s still scares from rejections in the past. Even if the 24-year-old decides to sign with the Spanish giants, the player must do some goodwill.

Journalist Juanma Rodríguez was one of the faithful defenders that the signing of Mbappé was mandatory. However, the decisions that the Frenchman has been making have fully affected his position.

“Deceived [Mbappé] will have to eat a lot of broken eggs in Lucio to convince me that he deserves a box office at Jude’s right hand,” Rodríguez said on ABC (h/t Defensa Central).

Rodríguez would welcome his arrival if he manages to transform himself into a Madrid native and a Madridista to validate his signing. Therefore, the Spanish journalist sees it as becoming less and less feasible for Mbappé to wear the Merengue shirt next season.

The rumors will begin leading up to the January window, and they could go into the summer if the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner determines until after the 2023-24 season is over to make a decision.
