Over the last few days, reports suggest that Paris Saint-Germain is keen on Brazilian talents Flamengo’s Lorran Lucas and Corinthians’ Wesley. However, information now reveals another interest: São Paulo’s Beraldo.
Brazilian journalist Alexsander Vieira reports that Barcelona is on the verge of making a significant move to secure the services of Beraldo. However, the Catalan side could face competition for the 19-year-old defender.
The player has garnered substantial interest from top clubs such as Manchester City, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain. As a result, the pursuit of Beraldo has ignited a fierce bidding war.

So, how much is the center-back going to cost? According to the information, the São Paulo board wants more than €20 million to make Beraldo the biggest sale of a defender in Brazilian football.
From a PSG perspective, going after Beraldo would make sense since he’s a player they wouldn’t need right away and allow him to develop. At 19, the Ligue 1 side could loan him out, and once they’re ready to move on from one of their current center-backs, the Brazilian can slide in.
After splurging this summer, sporting advisor Luis Campos could buy players at a reasonable cost and bank on their potential. It will be interesting to see how this saga plays out.
